What is permanent make-up?
Permanent make-up is a cosmetic technique that is similar to tattooing in which the color is permanently implanted into the dermal layer of the skin, also known as, micro pigment implantation. Permanent make-up can benefit people who wish to have natural enhancement to their appearance without the use of make-up. Permanent make-up can be used for eyebrows, eyeliner above or below, eye lashes, lip liner, and full lip color. Because of its similarity to tattooing, but will become more natural after a few weeks.

The initial appointment may take about 1.5 to 2.5 hours depending on the procedure. "Touch-up" procedures usually do not take that much time. The need for "touch-up" procedure depends on individual desire and preferences. Please be assured that your health and safety are of utmost importance to me. Sanitary surroundings, disposable needles, and quality products are a must.
How long will permanent make-up last?
The body's skin changes over time, and so will any coloration. However, the process takes years to fade. It is essential that a sun block be applied over the permanent make-up area before you are exposed to the sun or a tanning bed, this will help retaining the color longer. Although some fading may occur and a "touch-up" visit every couples of years may be necessary, the pigment will remain in the skin forever.
Is this painful?
Because of the nature of tattooing which is invasive to the skin, in the most delicate areas, some discomfort may be experienced. The use of topical anesthetic helps to lessen any discomfort. If you are apprehensive and would like to take pain medication prior to the appointment, that would help. Everyone has a different threshold of pain, but we find that overall the discomfort is short lived, in exchange for long term rewards that you get from the procedure.
